Upgrade - discussion forums

The UK Column has been steadily growing over the last year or so. We have outgrown the capabilities of the present website platform, so we have decided to make some significant upgrades over the coming months. The first of these is the move to full discussion forums.

What will that mean?

First of all, unfortunately, we will all need to create accounts. That's the downside.

The upside for our readers is proper threaded discussions on many topics, including the articles posted here. Instead of a "leave a comment" box at the bottom of future articles, there will be a direct link to the relevant thread on the forums.

You will be able to send each other messages without having to post email addresses in public. You will be able to edit your own posts, add attachments, include images, links to other sites are easy. We will be able to move posts which are posted to the wrong place by accident (it does happen). And so on.

So there you have it. Step one of the upgrades. I will be publishing a roadmap for the upgrades to the site here soon, but in the meantime, if you have any comments or suggestions about this change, please let us know.

i think this idea will benefit all concerned for democracy and the truth in all that we pursue , especialy exposing the evils of which have ilfiltrated the very core of our british society and religionS , and WE all know who they are....NWO and the unelected EU, these people will stop at nothing in pursuit of there aim , to be masters of us all , with there ant-christ leader giving the ORDERS? It is important to realise:
- Democracy is the very tool the NWO uses to undermine freedom and liberty and to legitimise the feudalistic state that is upon us. The solution: a constitutional republic governed by law, not a democracy governed by a few. Democracy is: two rabbits and three foxes deciding what's for dinner... Take, for example, the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. - The cancer is a feudalistic, global elite ruling over societies spawning not just Britain but throughout Europe, NA, Asia, Africa. To defend Humanity, however, we need to start in our own back yard, and take back local towns and counties from corrupt politicians or well meaning idiots.

- not only is the EU unelected, it is an unlawful superstate, to which we, the people, have no duty. EU directives are unlawful, and obeying EU bureaucrats is high treason, the same high treason our politicians committed when selling this nation and its people out to the globalist cabal.

I like to suggest that the Neuro-Linguistic Programming forum should be moved into a sub forum, and the parent forum be called Brainwashing - Mind Control or something similar then have more subforums like..

Subliminal Messaging

Culture Creation

Predictive Programming

Neuro-linguistic Programming

Double Think

etc........

Btw, is there any option of embedding videos i.e (youtube, google, bliptv) within the BBcode of this Software? our do we just post the links for now? or will the full markup code work?

I would like to suggest a section is made for discussing such issues as ''National Sovereignty/National Independence'', since, it seems to me, that these issues are the very ones being obscured by, counterfeited by and actively being undermined by the evils of our times.

In any event, best wishes with the success of this forum.

Why not a discussion category for user articles. UK Column readers can submit their own articles here. Articles should be original work.

Material posted here could be eligible for publication in the next UK Column issue.

Every time i submit a post i have to refresh my browser to get the post to appear, otherwise it returns me to the old page without my post present, cookie / caching delay issues?

I'm using Iceweasel ( Debian version of Firefox ) has anyone found same problem with Firefox on Windows or Firefox on a different Flavor of Linux?

Same here and this sound like cache to me, though I do not consider this an issue. Visa/Firefox
